Imagine driving through Atlanta and seeing your own artwork on massive McDonald’s billboards. For 10-yearold Arianna Rosales of Toombs County, that dream is now a reality. Arianna’s vibrant design, full of color and heart, is being showcased on 6 billboards across the city after winning the McDonald’s Mural Projects, an annual contest that gives children from the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities (ARMHC) a chance to share their creativity with the world.
The project holds deep significance for Arianna and her family. Her younger sister, Sofi, was born with a rare condition called Giant Congenital Melanocytic Nevus (GCMN), which affects her entire body. Sofi has had over 15 surgeries, and through it all, the Atlanta Ronald Mc-Donald House has been a second home for the family, providing comfort and support during their countless trips to Atlanta for medical appointments.
“I can’t put into words what the Ronald McDonald House has meant to us,” said a member of the Rosales family. “It’s been a true lifeline during Sofi’s treatments, and we’re incredibly grateful.”
Arianna’s design was revealed in a special ceremony on October 10 at the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House on Peachtree Dunwoody, where she and her family were celebrated for their creativity and resilience. Arianna’s mural is now featured on billboards at 6 locations in the Atlanta area.
McDonald’s Owner/ Operators and Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities are proud to shine a spotlight on talented kids like Arianna through the Mural Project. It’s more than just art — it’s about giving children and families who have faced incredible challenges a platform to share their stories and creativity with the world.
