Dog/Cat Vaccine Clinic in Mount Vernon

Several local animal organizations and the City of Mount Vernon are coming together to host a Vaccine and Microchip Clinic for dogs and cats p.m. on Saturday, November 16.
The event is a result of the combined efforts of Lucky Dog Rescue Ranch, Inc. (Uvalda), Four Rivers Veterinary Clinic (Vidalia), The Rescue Ranch (McRae), Heart of Appling (Baxley), and the City of Mount Vernon to ensure all animals have the vaccines they need to remain healthy and refrain from spreading disease.
The clinic will be held from 9 a.m. until 12 on November 16 at the Mount Vernon Fire Department, located at 639 South Mason Street. Several vaccinations are available for free or reduced costs, thanks to contributions from individual sponsors and Petco Love. Vaccine and microchip options include: Rabies Vaccine (ef –
