Dot Foods Donates Over $ 100,000 to Local Hurricane Relief

Dot Foods has donated over $100,000 to the United Way of Toombs, Montgomery, and Wheeler Counties to help with hurricane relief efforts.
The total donation of $117,584 combines money that was raised by the Dot Foods employees across the nation with matched funding from the company’s corporate office to ensure that all areas in which these employees live in have the funding they continued from page

“Dot Foods has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting our communities by donating over $117,000 to United Way for Hurricane Helene relief in our own area,” Distribution Center General Manager Tim Truxel remarked. “Dot Foods employees nationwide pledged their support, and the company generously matched these contributions. In times of disaster, Dot consistently steps up, showing just how impactful these contributions can be, especially when it hits close to home. I am incredibly proud to be part of a company dedicated to making a positive difference in the places we call home.”
United Way of Toombs, Montgomery, and Wheeler Counties Executive Director Patricia Dixon also commented on the donation. “We really appreciate Dot Foods employees and corporate giving to hurricane relief work in our area,” she emphasized. “This money was collected by employees and matched by the corporate office – these people wanted to make sure that their fellow Dot Foods family were taken care of. We are so grateful for the generosity and are excited to be able to put this money back into the community.”
