Free Food, Music, and Fun in Lyons This Weekend

Lyons Community Heart & Soul will host the community for a free potluck event from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at 304 Society Garden, located at 321 W. Liberty Avenue in Lyons, on Saturday, November 16.
This event is just one of the many ways which the Lyons Community Heart & Soul team is working to bring the citizens together. The goal of this volunteerled effort is to gather information about what community members love most about Lyons and what they would like to see to help create a plan for the city’s future. This campaign is expected to last for around 2 years and will work to hear from every demographic within the community to make sure everyone has a voice in city planning.
On Saturday, the team will host a community potluck, where individuals are invited to enjoy free food, live music, and a bounce house. Attendees are asked to bring their favorite dessert to share if able. For more information, call (912) 526-6445.
