REGION CHAMPS – Vidalia High School One Act Play claimed their tenth region championship on Thursday, November 7.

Performing the Play “Bad Axe,” the Vidalia High School One Act Play team won the Region 3 1A Championship on Thursday, November 10, at the VHS Theatre. The win was the school's 10th Region Title and first since 2021.

'We are so excited and grateful to represent Vidalia High School at the state competition this year!' said a proud VHS One Act Coach, Margaret Pournelle. 'I am so proud of these students and all the hard work they have put into this show. Their dedication to our performance and to each other is unmatched, and I am eager for us to continue preparing for the state competition!'

Individual talent within the team was also recognized. Sage Powell earned the title of Best Actress, celebrating her outstanding performance and ability to embody her character. Additionally, Kingston Ryals and Savannah Edwards received All-Star Cast honors for their compelling portrayals, which contributed significantly to the overall success of the production.

As the Vidalia High School One Act Play team gears up for the upcoming state competition, the team's excitement, pride, and determination are at an all-time high. With a strong legacy behind them and an unwavering commitment to excellence, they are poised to make a memorable impact at the state level.
