The Four Rivers Patriots Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution held its monthly meeting on Thursday night, October 17, 2024, at Chatters Restaurant in Lyons. With President Steve DeWeil presiding, there were 19 in attendance.

The speaker was Mike Lisenby, a retired lawyer. Mike and his wife Nancy live in Swainsboro. Mike spoke on the 'Formation of the Colonies, 1600's/1700's. The next meeting will be on January 16, 2025.
