Lyons Parade Expected to be Merry & Bright

The annual Lyons Lighted Christmas Parade is sure to bring the Christmas spirit to the area this year, as the festivity will hit the streets at 6 p.m. on Friday, December 6.
This year, the parade’s theme is “Merry and Bright,” as parade entries are encouraged to show off their most colorful lights and decorations. Entries registered prior to Friday, November 22, will be judged by a panel of 3 community members to determine who takes home bragging rights for having the best float.
Prior to the parade, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., there will be a pop-up Christmas market downtown, as food and gift vendors set up beside the streets. Kids may also visit with Santa Claus from 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at the gazebo in the center of downtown.
