Pedestrian Vs. Vehicle on 280
One woman lost her life on Friday night after she was hit by a vehicle while crossing U.S. Highway 280 in Vidalia.
Melissa Foskey, 45, of Vidalia, was crossing the street at around 8:42 p.m. on Friday, November 29, when she was hit by a vehicle driven by Nelson Hernandez, 39, of Vidalia. First responders treated Foskey on scene and transported

her by ambulance to Memorial Health Meadows Hospital, where she ultimately succumbed to her injuries.
