Georgia State Route 292 between Semco Road and H.D. Wright Road in Lyons will be closed for bridge construction from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on December 11-12 and December 17. Drivers are encouraged to use Semco and H.D. Wright Roads to detour this road work.

The Downtown Vidalia Association is hosting a Late Night Christmas Shopping event from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 12.
