TJ Scott earned a 3rd place finish in the highly competitive 106-pound division. His quickness and aggressive style were key factors in his impressive run at the Invitational.
In the girls’ division, Messiah Salem stood out with a dominant performance, earning 1st place. Her hard work and dedication paid off, as she captured the championship in her weight class.
With the Onion City Invitational now in the books, the Vidalia Indians will quickly turn their attention to their next challenge. This week, they will travel to Dublin to take part in the annual Shamrock Shuffle, a popular tournament that features some of the best high school wrestling talent in the region.
The Onion City Invitational was a huge success, and Vidalia High School’s wrestling team proved that they are a force to be reckoned with. With talented wrestlers like Deuce Hightower, Jack Godbee, Levi Palmer, TJ Scott, and Messiah Salem leading the way, the Indians are poised for an exciting rest of the season.
