Raiders of Bacon County at home on Friday night. Toombs took the lead in the first quarter, 12-8. TCHS held pace in the second, and at halftime they were leading, 21-17.

In the third quarter, Bacon came back to take the lead, 33-30. Bacon pulled away in the third quarter to take the win, 50-41, over the Bulldogs.

Toombs was led by Hill with 16 points, and Bland added 12 in the loss.

Boys vs. Bacon

A big first quarter from Toombs was the difference in the game. Toombs jumped out to a 24-11 lead in the first quarter of the game. They added to that lead in the second to hold a 36-21 lead at halftime.

At the end of the third quarter, the Bulldogs were on top, 51-35. Toombs went on to win the game, 63-50.

The Lady Bulldogs will have the week off and will get back to action in the new year. The boys will play in the Paul Thigpen Christmas Classic at Vidalia High School. They will play Tattnall County on Thursday at 3:30 p.m., Coffee County on Friday at 2:30 p.m., and on Saturday they will play Paxon School for Advanced Studies out of Jacksonville, FL., at 2:30 p.m.
