Lyons Sets 2025 Qualifying Fees

The Lyons City Council officially set the qualifying fees for 3 city council positions during the Council’s regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 7.

This year, council seats for Wards 1, 2, and 4 – currently occupied by Tracy Johnson, Cathy Benton, and John Moore Jr. – are up for reelection. Per the normal protocol, the Council set the qualifying fees for these positions during the first Council meeting of the year, as all agreed to charge $108 for candidates to qualify for the positions.

Qualifying will be held in August, and more information on the times and dates of that period will be released closer to the qualifying period.
