Treutlen Wins Over Jenkins

The Vikings of Treutlen County High School faced off with Jenkins County and East Laurens last week. Both Vikings teams defeated Jenkins, but were swept by the Falcons of East Laurens. vs. Jenkins

The Lady Vikings took the win over Jenkins County 55-22, and the boys of Treutlen won in a close game, 62-59.

Girls vs. East Laurens

The Lady Falcons led 15-11 at the end of the first, but Treutlen closed the lead to 29-28 by the end of the first half.

In the third quarter, the Lady Falcons increased their lead to 46-42, and they went on to win the game, 71-48, after a big fourth quarter.

Boys vs. East Laurens

The Falcons jumped out to an 18-8lead in the first quarter and pushed that lead to 46-25 by halftime. East Laurens continued to pull away in the second half of the game to take the win, 77-49. This week Treutlen will host Emanuel County Institute on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and then will be at Swainsboro on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
