Hearings

The Wheeler County Commission will hold two public hearings on their attempt to opt-out of the HB581 homestead exemption on Thursday, February 20, at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., and an additional hearing at 9 a.m. on Friday, February 21, at the Community Center on Forest Avenue in Alamo. The City of Glenwood will host their public hearings on the intent to opt out at 12 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, and 12 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, at Glenwood City Hall. The City of Alamo will host their public hearings to opt out at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, and at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 21, at Alamo City Hall.
