the Lady Warriors outscored VHS 9-5 as they took a 17-13 lead into halftime.

In the third quarter, the Lady Indians finally got a bit of offense going as they took the lead over Tattnall and were up, 2524 heading to the fourth. In the fourth, VHS pulled away as they got the win, 39- 32.

VHS was led by Nichols with 15 points and Cori Warner added 12.

Boys vs. Tattnall

It was also a close game between the boys of Vidalia and Tattnall County. Vidalia held a close 11-10 lead at the end of the first quarter, and after a very slow second quarter, the Indians took an 18-15 lead into halftime.

VHS extended the lead in the third quarter to 33-26. The Indians fought hard and held on in the fourth quarter to take the win, 45-44, over the Warriors.

Girls vs. Woodville

VHS closed out the regular season against the Wolverines of Woodville-Tomkins on Friday night at home. The Lady Indians rolled to an easy win over Woodville. They took a 16-6 lead in the first quarter and held a 28-17 lead by the end of the first half.

VHS extended that lead in the third to 52-26, and they took the win over the Lady Wolverines, 70- 31.

VHS was led by Nichols with 22 points, Jordyn Goings added 12, Monroe scored 11, Warner posted 10, and Bacon added 8 in the win.

Boys vs. Woodville

In the boys’ game, the Indians were in front 2014 at the end of the first, and were in front, 33-25 heading to halftime.

VHS extended that lead to 54-39 in the third quarter, and they needed every bit of that lead in the fourth. Woodville went on a run in the fourth as they outscored the Indians, 19-7, but it was not enough as VHS held on to take the win, 61- 58.

This week is the Region tournament, which will be held at VHS. The VHS boys will play on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. at home against the winner of the Toombs County vs. Swainsboro game. The Lady Indians will play 7:00 p.m. alsoagainst the winner of the Toombs County vs. Swainsboro game
