Monthly Meeting—
The Lyons Senior Citizens will meet on February 25 at 11:00 a.m. at the Birthday House at Partin Park. Everyone is invited to attend and bring a covered dish.
SOAPS Spayghetti Dinner
The Sweet Onion Animal Protection Society will host its 17th Annual “Spaygetti” Dinner on February 25. Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased at Altamaha Animal Clinic, Kilgore Animal Hospital, and Vidalia Veterinary Clinic. Dinner pick-up will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Vidalia Community Center.
Pastor Anniversary—
First African Missionary Baptist Church, 206 Martin Luther King, Jr., Ave., Vidalia, will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their pastor, Dr. Carl Wardlaw, Jr., on February 23 at 2:00 p.m. The speaker will be Rev. Carl Wardlaw III and his pastorate, Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church.
Everyone is invited to attend.
Banquet—
Rachel's House will have their 15th Annual Banquet on Tuesday, March 4, at First Baptist Church of Vidalia. Seating at 6:00 p.m., dinner and program at 6:30.

Celebration Banquet—
First African Missionary Baptist Church will have a banquet to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their pastor, Dr. Carl Wardlaw, Jr., on February 22 at 6:30 p.m., at the Durden Cabin at Partin Park, 192 Callaway Cir., Lyons. Cost is $25, and attire is semiformal.

Monthly Meeting—
The next meeting of the Four Rivers Chapter of the Society of the Sons of the American Revolution will be Thursday, February 21, in the back room of Chatters Restaurant in Lyons. Attendees should arrive around 6:15 p.m. if they wish to eat and fellowship; the meeting will begin at 7 p.m.

Clothes Closet—
New Life In Christ Ministries, 208 Meadowbrook St., Vidalia, will have their Clothes Closet open for a giveaway on Saturday, March 1, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. There will be clothing and shoes for men, women & children. Accessories & other homegood items will also be available.
