Screven Defeats Lady Vikings

The Treutlen County High School Lady Vikings basketball team was at Screven County on Tuesday of last week in the first round of the GHSA State Tournament. Treutlen fell behind early to the Lady Gamecocks and were never able to catch up as their season came to an end.

Screven jumped out to a 24-6 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. Treutlen was trailing 47-16 by the end of the first half, and they were down, 76-28, by the end of the third.

Screven took the win over the Vikings, 89-41. Treutlen finished the season with a record of 1314.
