VHA Falls To Frederica

The Vidalia Heritage Academy Eagles baseball team are coming off their third State Championship in GAPPS in a row, but this year they have joined the GIAA and are looking to make an impression in their new league. Last week they took on AAA Frederica Academy at home. VHA was outmatched by the larger school as they fell by the run rule.

VHA did get a couple of hits in the game as Jake Adams and Trevor White picked up a hit apiece, but that was all they could muster as Frederica took the win, 13-1 over the Eagles. Pearson O’Neal scored the only run of the game for VHA as he also stole two bases in the game.

This week VHA hosted Frederica on Tuesday after presstime. They will be back in action on Thursday at John Milledge at 4:00 p.m., and on Friday they will play a double header at Mt. Zion starting at 5:00 p.m.
