On Wednesday, February 12, Robert Toombs Christian Academy's Bray Williamson signed his letter of intent to play football at the next level. Williamson will be heading to Shorter University in Rome, GA.

In his senior season Williamson not only led RTCA in tackles, but he led all of the GIAA with 146 on the season. He will be heading up to Shorter with the plan of working between a linebacker and defensive end.

Williamson said, 'It is a school I have always had on my mind on and I am excited to sign with them and be there playing football, it is a blessing. I really like the campus and it reminds me of home. I want to thank all of my coaches, family and most importantly God.'

RTCA Head Coach Matthew Meeks stated, 'Bray has a great work ethic, leadership and football IQ it was a great move for Shorter to be able to snatch him up and give him this opportunity. He has really earned this and he will take advantage this and be an asset to Shorter. He came to RTCA mentally and physically prepared. He loves contact and that will serve him well playing linebacker and going forward.'
