Montgomery County FFA Chapters Visit State Capitol; Meet with Local Legislators

Members of both the Montgomery Middle and High FFA Chapters recently had the exciting opportunity to visit the state capitol as part of the annual FFA Day at the Capitol event. The trip allowed students to meet with their local representatives, learn about the legislative process, and advocate for the future of agricultural education.
The event brought together selected FFA chapters from across the state, giving students a firsthand look at state government in action. While at the capitol, FFA members attended a special legislative breakfast, engaged in discussions with legislators Blake Tillery and Leesa Hagan in their offices about the importance of agricultural programs, career and technical education, and the role FFA plays in preparing the next generation of leaders in our community.
FFA Day at the Capitol is an annual tradition that highlights the impact of FFA in developing leadership skills, promoting agricultural literacy, and fostering civic engagement among students. The Montgomery County FFA Chapters look forward to continuing its involvement and advocating for the future of agriculture in the state.
