Toombs County Schools to Hold Pre-K Enrollment on March 19

Toombs County Schools will hold their annual Pre-K Enrollment Day from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Lyons Primary School and Toombs Central Elementary School on Wednesday, March 19.

This enrollment for the upcoming school year (2025-2026) is divided into two categories: registration and placement onto a waiting list. Students who live in Toombs County and attend the elementary school that they are zoned for based on their home address will complete registration, securing their spot at the school. Students who live in Toombs County but want to attend a different school from the one they are zoned for, and students outside of the Toombs County School District, will be placed on a waiting list for their desired school. Waiting lists will be addressed the following week after registration is complete.

To receive an enrollment packet, parents or guardians must present the child’s certified birth certificate; social security card; immunization form #3231; ear, eye, dental, and nutrition form #3300, insurance card, and proof of residency (bill, lease agreement). The parent or guardian also must show the school their personal ID.
