Robert Toombs Christian Academy Lady Crusaders soccer team claimed their first win in Region play against Covenant Academy last Thursday night. They added another win on Friday against Vidalia Heritage Academy.

The Lady Crusaders boast a 21 player roster led by 3 seniors, Kylie Acosta, Madalyn Joiner, and first time player Meredith Durden. utes left in the first half. With so much depth, the crusaders were able to keep fresh, and Wimpey scored a second goal in the second half, clutching the 2-0 victory.

The middle school girls played before the varsity game and won 1- 0. vs. Heritage

Against the Lady Eagles of Vidalia Heritage, RTCA jumped out with two goals in the first half of the game. They added three more in the second half, while allowing just one. That gave RTCA the 5-1 win over the Eagles.

RTCA got goals from Madaline Wolfe, Kylie Acosta, Autumn Moore, Kailen Brantley, and Anna Kaye Joyner.

RTCA was on the road on Monday of this week after presstime. They will be back in action on Thursday at home against Windsor Academy at 5:30 p.m.
