The Vidalia Heritage Academy Eagles baseball team played two games last week as they took a win from John Milledge Academy on Tuesday, but fell to David Emanuel Academy on Thursday. vs. John Milledge

Tuesday afternoon the Vidalia Heritage Academy Eagles came from behind to beat the GISA AAA John Milledge Academy Trojans 4-3.

In the top of the first inning, John Milledge put two runs on the board to take the early lead. They added another in the fourth inning as they pushed their lead to 3-0.

But in the bottom of the fifth inning, VHA plated their first run of the game, and they added another in the sixth inning close the lead to 3-+ 2.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, the Eagles had tied up the game when Trevor White came through with a sacrifice fly that scored the winning run. That gave VHA a 4-3 win.

Greer Posey pitched five innings of two run ball, Luke Moxley went 3-3 at the plate with a double and RBI. Trevor White was 1-3 with a double and the game winning sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh for the walk-off win. vs. DEA

This was another close game for VHA as they fell by just one run to DEA. DEA took the early lead with a run in the bottom of the first inning. But Heritage came back with two runs in the second inning to jump ahead, 2-1.

DEA added two more runs in the third inning on their way to a 3-2 win over Heritage.

The Eagles are 6-4 for the season. This week VHA takes on Robert Toombs in a Region series. They played the first game on Monday of this week at VHA and the second game on Tuesday at RTCA. They will play the final game on Thursday at VHA at 4:30 p.m.
