Wheeler Soccer Gets 3 Wins

The Wheeler County High School soccer teams took on the Vikings of Treutlen last week and came away with two wins. The Lady Bulldogs also faced off with Johnson County and rolled to an easy win. vs. Treutlen

Against Treutlen, the Lady Bulldogs picked up three goals in the game as they held the Lady Vikings to just one. That gave Wheeler a 3-1 win over their rival.

The boys also defeated Treutlen, 3-1. Wheeler scored one goal in the first half of the game and then two more in the second half. Treutlen was able to score a goal in the second half, but the Bulldogs took the win, 3-1.

Girls vs. Johnson

It was an easy win for the Lady Bulldogs as they took the mercy rule win, 10-0 over the Lady Trojans. The Lady Bulldogs are 3-4 on the season and are 3-3 in Region, while the boys are 3-3 overall and 3-2 in Region play. This week the Bulldogs hosted Hawkinsville on Tuesday after presstime. They will be back on the pitch on Friday against Georgia Military Academy in Alamo at 5:30 p. m.
