VHS Students Compete in Georgia TSA State Leadership Conference

The Georgia Technology Student Association (TSA) State Leadership Conference at the Classic Center in Athens, Georgia, concluded on Saturday after four dynamic days of competition, collaboration, and celebration. This remarkable event brought together middle and high school students from across Georgia to Athens to 'Tune Into Technology,' showcasing their talents in over 80 competitive events that emphasized innovation, teamwork, and leadership.
From March 1215, six Vidalia High School students joined peers from 182 chapters statewide to compete in 85 diverse events. These competitions covered cutting-edge fields such as Electric Vehicles, Cybersecurity, Coding, Robotics, Drones, Structural Engineering, and Digital Video Production, alongside leadership-focused challenges like Prepared Presentations and Leadership Strategies. This inspiring event provided students with opportunities to push their limits, form meaningful connections, and unleash their creativity.
Vidalia High School students participating were Kelan Campbell, Jayden Greene, Alyssa Head, Brady Lane, Elvin Porter, and Naomi Troester.
Vidalia High School proudly achieved outstanding success at the conference, demonstrating their dedication, ingenuity, and passion for technological excellence. Their performance exemplifies TSA’s mission and serves as inspiration for future innovators across the state.
This year’s conference saw a record-breaking attendance of 3,104 participants. More than 180 volunteers, alumni, and judges contributed to the success of the 64th annual event hosted at the Classic Center in Athens. Highlights included hands-on individual and team competitions, college and career exploration sessions, and the Georgia TSA Engineering Experience College and Career Fair. Georgia TSA alumnus Sidney Bryant delivered an inspiring keynote address during the opening session. At the same time, chapter voting delegates elected the seven new state officers for the 2025-26 school year during the annual business meeting.
