Four Rivers Patriots Hold Monthly Meeting

The Four Rivers Patriots Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution held its monthly meeting on Thursday night, March 20, 2025, at Chatters Restaurant in Lyons. With President Joel Keener presiding, there were 16 in attendance.
Dual member Dess Smith III then presented President Joel Keener the Brier Creek Battlefield chapter Flag Streamer. President Keener then inducted the newest member, Richard Doyle Waller, who was approved by the National Society on January 24, 2025. His Patriot is John Connell.
The speaker was Compatriot Mike Lisenby, a retired lawyer. He and his wife Nancy live in Swainsboro. Mike talked about Colonial Revolution, Constitution and Periods of America.

It was the 13th annual event staged by the Lodge to thank firefighters, law enforcement, emergency medical services, and the Georgia EMA, who work to protect lives and property.
