The Robert Toombs Christian Academy Lady Crusader soccer team played two games last week. They took on Trinity Christian and David Emanuel Academy, splitting those games. vs. Trinity

The Lady Crusaders were outmatched against Trinity on Monday of last week. Trinity scored five goals in the game, and kept RTCA off the board to win, 5-0. vs. DEA

The Lady Crusaders had a great showing at DEA on Tuesday.

The middle school girls kicked things off with a 2-0 victory.

The varsity girls then had a bit of a sluggish start but locked in defeating the DEA eagles 6-0. Alayna Wimpey scored the first goal assisted by Kylie Acosta. Sophomore Kailen Brantly then was on a roll scoring 3 consecutive goals earning a hat trick for the game. Kylie Acosta, Anna Kate Joyner, and Addison Botelho assisted those goals.

The second half ended with an outstanding 20+ yard goal from Madaline Wolfe and a tap in goal for Maribeth Stephens assisted by Brantly.

The Lady Crusaders are now 4-3 on the season, and they are 2-2 in Region play. The crusaders will be back in Toombs County on Thursday, April 10, at Vidalia Heritage Academy. Both middle school and both varsity teams will be playing.
