The Downtown Vidalia Association (DVA) will celebrate the upcoming Vidalia Onion Festival and raise money for the Paul Anderson Youth Home through its annual Sweeten Your Ride car decal sale on April 11-12 at Meadows Park in Downtown Vidalia.
Each year, the DVA sets up a drive-through decal sale area, where volunteers sell “Sweeten Your Ride” decals for $10 in preparation for the Vidalia Onion Festival. Volunteers put these decals onto vehicles upon purchase, and the profits are donated to a charity or organization of the DVA’s choice.
This year, the DVA has selected the Paul Anderson Youth Home to benefit from the sales. “The Paul Anderson Youth Home is an integral part of our community; they are truly doing life-changing work in young men’s lives, and we are so grateful to be able to support them,” DVA Executive Director Tonya Parker remarked.
The decals will be for sale from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday, April 11, and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 12. For more information on the event, call (912) 5378033.
