Church Anniversary

Grant Chapel C.M.E. Church, Martin Luther King, Jr., Ave, Vidalia, will celebrate their 115th church anniversary on Sunday, April 27, 11:30 a.m. The speaker will be Rev. Edwin Thomas, pastor of Mt. Calvary and Temple Chapel C.M.E. Churches. Dinner will be served.

The National Day of Prayer will be held on Thursday, May 1, at 6:30 p.m., at the Toombs County Courthouse.

Homecoming

Cedar Crossing Baptist Church will celebrate Homecoming on April 27, at 10:30 a.m. The guest speaker will be Jack Yarbrough, with music by the Hinson Family. There will be no Sunday School, and covered dish dinner will be served under the tent.
