FCA Grows At Vidalia High

The Vidalia High School Fellowship of Christian Athletles Huddle has grown in leaps and bounds over this past school year. From just four dedicated young women in October to over 40 student athletes with one month of school left.
East Georgia FCA Area Director Mary Moon said, “I received a text from the original girls that they had grown too big and they had to find a new room to hold their huddle in. I literally started crying when I read it and saw the picture of the athletes meeting to grow in their walk with Christ. I received the message in February, with over 40 athletes showing up to hear their teammates and classmates talk about Jesus. God is on the move and we are super proud of these Indians!”
The VHS FCA Huddle started with just four young ladies back in October, Deidra Boston, Anastyn Blewett, Myra Mead, and Elizabeth Sowell. They made the decision to continue meeting and stayed faithful to what they felt like God was leading them to do with FCA at VHS. After a few weeks, a few more came, and then a few more, and then a few more, until they had to find a bigger space to meet in. They have continued to grow the huddle and hope to see it thrive into next year.
They spend each meeting using the Discovery Bible Study method, studying Scripture and discussing how to apply it to their lives.
