Pride Softball Plays Well – Sporting their Sweet Onion team uniforms in celebration of this week's Vidalia Onion Festival, the 14-year-old Vidalia Pride Softball travel team took third place in a tournament held in Statesboro this past weekend. Paisley Ledford fired her first career grand slam home run over the fence to help topple the Carolina Elite team 17-3. Team members are: (L to R, Front): Jacqueline Meezquititla, Chloe Morris, Britleigh Sharpton, Jenna Fountain, Blayke Sasser; (Back): Kendall Ledford, Chloe Beck, Kylie Williamson, Elin Haygood, Jada Fountain, Tenley Blewitt, and Paisley Ledford.
