Sweet Onion Rings & Things Opens Downtown on Thursday

The Sweet Onion Rings & Things area, which is run by the Downtown Vidalia Association and located at the corner of Highway 280 East and Jackson Street, has announced that they will be serving up delicious onion rings from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, and Friday, April 25. “The Sweet Onion Rings & Things tent has always been a festival-favorite for the community,” Downtown Vidalia Association Executive Director Parker explained. “So many events will be happening downtown on Thursday and Friday, and we are so excited to be a part of that. Also, moving to Thursday allows our volunteers to enjoy some of the festivities with their families.”

Pork skins joined the menu, alongside classics like hot dogs and onion rings, to give some variety of option to patrons. The area will feature live music and fellowship, as festival attendees from around the nation enjoy Vidalia’s finest crop.
