Homes

The Jackson Heights Neighborhood Association will host a Tour of Homes event to allow the public to visit historic homes within the neighborhood from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 10. This event requires a ticket, which can be purchased for $25 at Mimosa Gift Boutique or Brown Companies.

Tales From the Altamaha

The Tales From the Altamaha folk play will be performed on Thursday, May 1, through Saturday, May 3, at the Blue Marquee Theatre, located at 121 N State St. in Lyons.

Performances will begin nightly at 7 p.m.; an additional matinee show will be performed at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 3.

Road Closure

U.S. Highway 280 (State Route 30) will be closed between Semco Dr. and H.D.

Wright Rd. from 9 p.m. until 3 a.m. each night on May 5-6 for the ongoing construction of the U.S. Highway 1 Bypass project.
