Byrd of Vidalia died on

February 6, 2021, at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia. Mr. Byrd was a native of Toombs County. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bill and Charoltte Byrd. Survivors include his parents, George (Willie Pearl) Corouthers, Vidalia; 3 brothers, George Corouthers, Atlanta, Cornelius (Medra) Corouthers, Columbus, OH, and Theron (Heather) Corouthers, Baxley; 4 sisters, Sharon (Franklin) Moye, Vidalia, LaWanda (Arthur) Dixson, Conyers, Paula (Maxwell) Pickett, Decatur, and LaGail (Alonzo) Wright, Vidalia; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

A graveside funeral service was held on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., in East Park Cemetery in Vidalia.
