Mrs. Rosa Asberry of Vidalia died on Sunday, August 2, 2020, at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta.

Mrs. Asberry was a native of Toombs County and operated a daycare center in

Vidalia. Survivors include her husband, Bruce Asberry, Vidalia; 3 sons, David (Allison) Asberry, McDonough, Daniel Asberry, Vidalia, and Derrek (Amanda) Asberry, North Charleston, SC; 1 brother, Reginald (Mary) Mikel, Vidalia; 1 sister, Grace Tuitt, Cleveland, OH; 2 half-brothers, Jermoe Woody and Larry Kennedy, both of Claxton; 1 half-sister, Dorothy Jones, Claxton; and 6 grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service was held on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., at Green Cypress Cemetery in Claxton.
