Mrs. Patricia “Patsy” Lamb Jackson, age 74, of the Normantown Community, died on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia after an extended illness.
Mrs. Jackson was born in Treutlen County, as a child moved to Toombs County and lived in the Normantown Community most of her life. She was Baptist by faith and was preceded in death by 1 son, James Jackson; her parents, Walter Henry Lamb and Ruthie Mae Jones Lamb; and 1 brother, Henry Gene Lamb. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Elton Jackson, Normantown; 1 daughter, Ruth Jackson Beasley and husband Roy, Kibbee Community; 3 grandchildren, Nolan Beasley, Normantown, Kayla Jackson, Cartersville, and T.J. Jackson, Vidalia; 1 greatgrandson, Bretley Beasley; 1 sister, Maurine Lamb Kelly and husband Otis, Vidalia; 2 brothers, Jerry Lamb and wife Brenda, Rincon, and Ronnie Lamb and wife Sue, Vidalia; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was held on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home, with Rev. Mitch Bellflower officiating. Burial followed in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Alex Taylor, Chad Lamb, Dana Dismuke, Tyler Rapp, Greg Cartrette, Michael Heckle, Timmy Lamb, Trent Jackson, Jody Lamb, Henry Lamb and Roy Lamb.
