Mrs. Kathy Fleming

Mrs. Kathy Mellissa Ray-Fleming, age 53 of Lyons, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 27, 2021, following an extended illness. She was born on May 28, 1967, in Claxton, GA, to Lydia Ray and the late Lamone Ray. She was the caretaker of her mother, Lydia, and attended Lyons Church of God of Prophecy.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Lydia Ray; two sons, Jamey Shaffer (Jamie) and Michael Fleming; daughter, Amy Ray; two brothers, Charlie Coursey (Camy) and Christopher Ray; five grandchildren, Cadence Prescott, Jacob Prescott, Zayn Powell, Jaydon Shaffer, and Maverick Turner; special aunt and uncle, Sarahlyn Williams and Reggie Ray; numerous other extended family members also survive. A Graveside Memorial Service was held on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Lyons City Cemetery with Rev. Mike Poppell to officiate.
