Mr. Robert Fields, Sr., of Uvalda died on March 10, 2021. Mr. Fields was a native of Montgomery County.

Survivors include 4 daughters, Mary Ann Lee, Ailey, Deborah Fields, Haughton, Meleny Coglin, Mt. Vernon, and Betty M. Fields, Vidalia; 5 sons, Willie Otis Fields, Waycross, Kent Fields, Baxley, Rufus Fields, Uvalda, Jack Fields, El Paso, TX, and Stanley Fields, Uvalda; 1 brother, Frank Williams, Hazlehurst; 2 sisters, Lue Ella McRae and Eula Williams, both of Hazlehurst; 22 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service was held on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., in Isle of Hope Cemetery in Uvalda.
