50th Anniversary 50th Anniversary

Billy and Ann Wilkes of Oak Park will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on December 20, 2020. The couple, who married in Milan, Georgia, originally met at Georgia Southern College, where Ann roomed with Billy's sister, Susan. Billy is a lifelong farmer and Ann is a retired educator. Billy and Ann are celebrated by their two children and sons-in-law, Tracy and Tom Trebendis and Tara and Daniel Ford, and two grandchildren, Eve Trebendis and Blaine Jordan.

Two men were injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Georgia Highway 15 and Green Tippett Road on January 24.
