MCHS Falls In McRae

The Montgomery County High School softball team played just one game last week as they took on Telfair County on Thursday in McRae. The Eagles lost the game by the run-rule in four innings.

Telfair jumped out with four runs in the bottom of the first inning and then added four more in the second to push their lead to 8-0. The Trojans plated another three runs in the third inning and then one more in the fourth to cap off the victory, 12-0. It was a nohitter for the Telfair pitcher, Erin Harrelson. This week MCHS was at Dooly Co u n t y on Tuesday after presstime, and will be back in action when they host rival Treutlen on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. in Mt. Vernon.
