Rogers was taken by ambulance to Memorial Health Meadows Hospital and later transferred to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah for treatment of his injuries.

As of Monday morning, no suspects had been arrested in connection with the incident, but police are actively pursuing leads in the case. The VPD asks persons who have any information on this incident or any other criminal activity within the City of Vidalia, to contact Sgt.
