cially beneath the cross in the corner of the field, was certainly a show of love and the utmost of character. I quote the words “class and humility” spoken to these young men by a VHA coach before meeting the opposing team in the middle of the field after delivering a tough loss.

“Thank you to the coaching staff at VHA for teaching these young men how to and what it means to be real men. To God be the glory!”

The Eagles played an amazing football game as their offense put 73 points on the Patriots. The Eagles were thrilled about their huge win and locking themselves into the playoffs.

VHA moved to 6-1 on the season and will be in another region match up as they are scheduled to play DEA this Friday night on the road in Stillmore, a team VHA has never beaten.

Head Coach Seth Sitzman had this to say, “Last night was more than a football game for us, it was a time and opportunity to show our respect to our community and friends at Nathaniel Greene. Our goals at VHA are to teach these kids values and principles that will carry these young men and women far in life. We stand for what we believe. We remember, and we walk in faith.”

During halftime of the game the Eagles also Crowned a King and Queen and a Prince and Princess. The 2021 Homecoming King was James Hutcheson and the Queen was Madyson Bruce. The Homecoming Price was Ethan Sikes and the Princess was Kerith Reaves.
