Mrs. Carol Faulk, age 74, ….

Mrs. Carol Faulk, age 74, of Guyton, died on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Homestead Hospital Baptist Health South Florida after a brief illness.

Mrs. Faulk was a native of Atlanta, living in Riverdale many years and in Effingham County since 1991. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by 1 son, Jimmy Schrum; her parents, John Anthony and Louise Wells Anthony; and 3 brothers, Randy Anthony, Huey Anthony, and Bobby Christian. Her family includes her husband, Mickie Faulk of Guyton; 4 children, Melissa Brock of Richmond, VA, Daniel Dunn and wife Sabrina of Atlanta, Dee Brown and husband Brad of LaGrange, and Kaleb Faulk and wife Christy of Pooler; 3 sisters, Ruby Jewell of Douglasville, Doris Ann Daniels of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Susan Johnson and husband Ronnie of Lyons; 1 brother, John Anthony of Douglasville; 13 grandchildren; 8 greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 3:00 p.m., in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home, with Pastor Aaron Moncrief officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon from 1:30 until just prior to the service.
