BPC Volleyball Adds Jeffery To Coaching Staff
Brewton-Parker College Vice President of Athletics Chris Dooley and Volleyball Head Coach Ashley Wingers have announced the addition of Amanda Jeffery to the BPC Volleyball staff.
Jeffery joins the coaching staff after competing for the Lady Barons for the past four seasons as well as serving as a student assistant for most of the 2021 season. 'I am so excited to have the opportunity to return to Brewton-Parker and assist the program while continuing my education,' Jeffery said. 'I look forward to assisting Coach Wingers in building a successful culture within the program.'
Her previous coaching experience includes a fouryear stint as an assistant coach of the Griffin Stingerz Club in Griffin, Ga. Jeffery graduated from Brewton- Parker College in December with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. While serving as an assistant coach, she will also be studying to earn a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Georgia Southern.
Coach Wingers mentioned her excitement for the addition to the program. 'We are so grateful and excited for Amanda to be joining our coaching staff,' Wingers said. 'Her experience on the court as well as her passion for student development made her our number one choice.' 'Her desire to stay after graduation emphasizes her passion for not only BPC but also teammates,' Wingers added. 'She was a leader on and off the court as an athlete, a manager, and now as our assistant coach.'
