Region 2AA Tournament At Vidalia High

Parsons-Reid Gymnasium in Vidalia will be the site of the Region 2AA Basketball Tournament that began on Tuesday and will continue Thursday and Friday.

The Vidalia Indians, the #1 seed in the boys' bracket, will take the floor Thursday at 8:30 p.m., while the Lady Indians, the #3 seed, played on Tuesday. The Tournament began Monday night at Toombs County with two play-in games, with Toombs girls playing East Laurens at 6:00 and the Toombs boys playing Bacon County at 7:30. Toombs won both of those games and advanced to Vidalia on Tuesday, where the girls played Vidalia, and the boys played Swainsboro (Boys #3).

Games Thursday, and Friday, will begin at 4:00 p.m., with tickets being $10 each day. Tickets at the gate may be purchased with a Credit or Debit Card, but fans are encouraged to buy tickets in advance. No cash sales will be accepted at the door, and Booster Passes, Season Passes, and Student Passes will not be honored.

Concessions will be available (Cash Sales), and all games will be streamed via the NFHS Network.
