Capt. Randy Clark with the Vidalia Police Department said in a press release that the incident arose over a custody dispute involving a juvenile.

Morris is being held in the Toombs County Detention Center on a felony warrant of aggravated battery, and misdemeanor warrants for cruelty to children in the third degree and simple battery. He was denied bond in his first appearance in Toombs county Superior Court.

The VPD asks that anyone with information about this incident or any other criminal activities to call 912-537-4123 or Crimestoppers at 912-386– 4480.
