VHS Grad Myesha Hall Heading To Track Nationals

Myesha Hall from Vidalia High School, 2 year team captain in track and field, State Champion and Vidalia High School record holder is making her mark at Truett Mc- Connell University. In her freshman season, Hall has crushed her personal best in the triple jump with a jump of 11.75 meters (38 feet 5 inches), breaking the school record at Truett McConnell and qualifying for NAIA national track and Field Championships. Not only has she qualified for nationals, she has achieved the A standard and is highly ranked. The NAIA National Championship meet will be held in the late spring.

VHS Coach Mandy Godbee said, “It was such a joy and honor to get the phone call from Myesha informing me of her accomplishments. As far as her athletic career, it has only just begun. She is also competing very well in the relays and the open 200. We are so proud of this fine young lady. It is exciting to watch her grow and develop athletically and academically.”
