Church Anniversary—

Better Together Christian Community Church, 202 Church St., Mt. Vernon, will celebrate their 6th Church Anniversary on Sunday, August 7, at 11:30 a.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Douglas Stanley of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Uvalda. Everyone is invited to attend.

Gospel Sing—

North Thompson Baptist Church, 404 North Thompson Church Rd., Vidalia, will have a gospel sing on July 31, 10:30 a.m., featuring the Kramer Family. A covered dish lunch will be served at 12:00.

Luncheon—

A Like Mother/Like Daughter Luncheon, sponsored by the Deaconess Ministry of First African Missionary Baptist Church in Vidalia, will be held on July 30 at 11:00 a.m., at The Dream House at Partin Park in Lyons. Everyone is invited to attend.

Aquatics Center Hours—

The Vidalia Aquatics Center is open to the public. Children 2 and under are admitted free. Persons aged 3 and up will be charged an admission fee of $5. The Center is closed Mondays, open Tuesday-Saturday, noon until 5 p.m., and on Sundays, 1-5 p.m.

A 50th class reunion is being planned for Montgomery County High School class of 1972 for August 6, at 6 p.m., at the Mt. Vernon Community House.
