Robert Toombs Christian Academy's Middle School Shotgun team participated in the State Shotgun tournament on Friday, October 28, at Forest City Gun Club in Savannah. RTCA had 10 shooters, in grades 6-8, qualify to compete in the State Competition this year.

Each shooter competed in three qualifying tournaments in order to compete at the State level. The Middle School team finished 11th out of 23 teams, which included teams from AA, AAA, and public schools.

Head Coach Allen McDonald said, 'I was very pleased with their performance. The Middle School squad has improved tremendously this year. I am very proud of them and look forward to seeing their progress next year.”
