The Toombs County High School Cheer Dawgs placed 4th in their division in the State Game Day Cheer Competition on February 24, in Columbus, GA. This was the first time competing in the Game Day competition arena for the Cheer Dawgs.

Toombs County Game Day cheer coach Joanna Humphrey stated, 'They may not have won a trophy, but what they’ve won is more important. They’ve worked hard, grown in ability, faced routine changes, and adapted anytime I needed them to. These Cheer Dawgs made this coach’s heart proud. I love them and have enjoyed seeing them bloom into the athletes

they are.'
